Here’s another microdose of the coolest things I discovered this week–written by me, Raad—CEO of LawTrades.
1. An article I read 🚗
Why The Rich Man Drives A Cheap Car
The poor or the middle-class man buys what his wallet can afford.
The rich man buys what his conscience can afford.
2. A podcast I recorded 🏫
Building Product to Pay for Law School
Spotify / Google / YouTube / Stitcher
I talk about getting the idea for my first internet company. It unexpectedly reached millions of people and I started generating more income than what any law firm job could offer me. Some time later, LawTrades was born.
3. A product we quietly launched 🚀
Micro—pay lawyers to answer your questions
No matter how rapidly artificial intelligence spreads, humanity will be stronger if people have the opportunity to put their knowledge to good use and share it with one another seamlessly. This is our little experiment to start that movement.
4. A technology I’m following 🤖
Elon Musk: I want to build a wizard hat for the brain.
5. A documentary I watched 👓
Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers (Netfix)
Neil Armstrong was the first person to land on the moon. This documentary is for anyone who realized “Neil A.” backwards is “Alien.”
6. A quote I’m pondering 💡
First of all:
When you start out of a career in the arts you have no idea what you are doing.
This is great. People who know what they are doing know the rules, and know what’s possible and impossible.
You do not.
And you should not.
The rules on what is possible and impossible in the arts were made by people who have not tested the bounds of the possible by going beyond them.
And you can.
Have a mindful rest of the week.
