Is it lawful for an employer to make a worker do something outside of their job description?

My answer to Is it lawful for an employer to make a worker do something outside of their job description?

Answer by Raad Ahmed:

The language “outside their job description” most often comes up with labor unions. When guided by a detailed collective bargaining agreement (CBA) it can be an unlawful labor practice for an employer to require a worker to do something not described within. To be sure, you should have an attorney take a look at any agreements in your possession. You can get that done at LawTrades. The labor & employment attorneys on our platform can help you quickly and affordably. Good luck.
