What are the lowest (i.e. DIY) initial costs of setting up a Delaware LLC and the annual maintenance fees afterward?

The filing fee is $90 to form a limited liability company (LLC) in Delaware. If you are not physically in Delaware, you will need to hire a registered agent as well. The Delaware Franchise Tax is $300 per year, due on June 1. This $300 fee is standard for every LLC regardless of its age, gross sales, activity or periods of inactivity. If an LLC fails to pay the Franchise Tax by June 1, it’ll be charged with an additional $200 fee.
