Does one have to register a company in the US to sell products online?

I will echo that you don’t have to register your company in the US if you are simply selling products to US consumers. The laws that govern you will be where you have incorporated your business. However, if somewhere down the road you decide to use any sort of manufacturer out of the US, then you may want to to make adjustments. As far as what you’ve indicated here, I see no reason that you should register the company in the US.

If in the future, you decide you’d like to transition your company into the US, LawTrades can connect you with a great business attorney that can help you through the process. Feel free to browse our website and get in touch in the future if you should need our services.
