What types of legal services have early-stage tech startups needed?

Your list is pretty thorough, but I’d like to add a couple more things.

Most startups find their way on the web. If you plan on developing a website you should definitely have a solid Terms of Use Agreement as well as a Privacy Policy.

A Terms of Use Agreement essentially outlines how people should use your website. Important things like liability of the company and refunds to customers are covered here.

A Privacy Policy indicates how you plan to use the information provided by customers. The policy will outline what type of information is collected and how it may be shared or sold to third parties.

Startups may be tempted to use a basic template online, but trust me, a Terms of Use Agreement and Privacy Policy should be as specific and custom as possible. They both help to reduce your liability in situations you probably would never see coming.
