6 Things Thursday : March 28, 2019

Hi there!

Here’s another microdose of the coolest things I discovered this week–written by me, Raad—CEO of LawTrades

1. An answer I read 📖
What is a life hack that you think everybody should know?
A summary on neuroplasticity and how you can use it to improve your quality of life.

2. My most shared instagram post 🔄

3. A product I purchased 💤
Oura ring
This is another gadget to help me “hack” my body and learn more about myself. Oura is a smart ring with advanced sensors like body temperature and blood volume pulse that you wear to sleep. It tracks your sleep stages (REM, Deep, Light), measures your sleep quality, and uses data to give you optimized bedtime schedules.

4. A water I drink ⛰
Mountain Valley Spring Water
I discovered this water from Aubrey Marcus of Onnit and later learned that every US president from Calvin Coolidge to Bill Clinton served this in the White House. Other notable connoisseurs include Babe Ruth, Elvis Presley, Andy Warhol, John Lennon and more. So what’s the big deal? Aside from tasting great, there’s health benefits. Spring water has the right balance of what you want (useful minerals), with little to none of what you don’t (chlorine, heavy metals, contaminants). I drink 12 ounces of this first thing in the morning with a pinch of Himalayan sea salt, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar.

5. A quote I’m contemplating 💀
“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”
 — Shakespeare

6. What I watched on Netflix 🤖
Love, Death & Robots
This show is not for the faint of heart. There’s violence, nudity, profanity, sci-fi, and comedy—all wrapped into a collection of short animated stories. Not a minute feels wasted, and if you enjoyed Black Mirror—you’ll probably love this series.

Have a mindful rest of the week.
